Free resources for families and professionals
Google and Parent Zone have created Be Internet Legends – a free internet safety resource for primary school children aged between 7-11 years old. Now available in Welsh, Key Stage 2 teachers can register for a curriculum pack containing classroom activities, a browser-based game, PSHE Association-accredited lesson plans, stickers and a poster. You can also register for the free Digital Wellbeing module, designed to help your pupils reflect on how to use technology in a healthy, balanced way.
For young people in their late teens, looking after money might be difficult and gambling could cause harms. Parent Zone and GambleAware have created a new resource pack for parents, carers and professionals, so they can support young people to stay in control of their finances and understand the risks of gambling. You can register and download the Know the Stakes resource pack for free here.
